Sedgwick has appointed Jenny Teo as head of its forensic advisory services division in Asia.
Teo replaces Adrienne Kouwenhoven who remains at Sedgwick as a technical partner.
Teo previously worked at FAS Global for Cunningham Lindsey until the team was rebranded under Sedgwick following its acquisition of Cunningham’s last year; she continues to be based in Singapore and she started her new role this month.
Teo will lead the team and help expand Sedgwick’s forensic advisory services in Asia. She will work closely with the company’s major and complex loss division and adjusters on catastrophe and major loss quantification.
Her experience includes commercial litigation disputes, arbitration work measuring economic losses in breach of contract and fraud investigations, in addition to analytical reviews of financial information, financial data mining and reconstruction of accounting records.
Teo has worked across sectors including financial services, construction, electronics, government agencies, healthcare, hotel and hospitality, energy, manufacturing, mining, retail, technology and telecommunications, and waste management and recycling.
“Our Asian operations have gone from strength to strength, including several high-profile new hires in 2019. Adding a veteran of [Teo’s] caliber to the ranks of our senior management team further solidifies Sedgwick’s position as the industry leader in the Asia region.” said James Ong, recently appointed Sedgwick chief executive, Asia.
