Union Assurance, a life player in Sri Lanka, is offering free COVID-19 cover to the first 1,000 customers who purchase a protection plan on its newly launched online platform.
The company has launched an online platform branded ‘Clicklife’ through which it has simplified the insurance buying process and customers can now buy a policy without any physical intervention, paper work or medical reports. A self-servicing app will provide real-time updates on the policy, including premium dues and claims status and also allow digital policy loan submission.
The app also includes a health tracker linked to a rewards scheme for instant redemption of vouchers and discount coupons. Union Assurance CEO Jude Gomes, said that Clicklife being a fully digital end-to-end solution will offer customers a seamless user experience from purchase to policy issuance, and servicing, and is available for anyone, anywhere at any time.
“We are disrupting life insurance as we know it by eliminating legacy systems, paperwork, and physical interventions, to simplify the process of buying protection,” he said.
